Emergency assistance

Fast help in an emergency: your checklist before calling. Every minute counts when a machine fails. Please briefly work through these points so we can provide targeted help immediately. This saves valuable diagnostic time:

1. Safety first!

  • Is the machine safely disconnected from the power supply (emergency stop activated if necessary)?
  • Is there a risk from leaking fluids (pumps) or heat?

2. Identify the symptoms

  • Noise: Is there grinding, squeaking or clicking?
  • Smell: Is there a scorched smell or a smell of burnt insulation (winding damage)?
  • Temperature: Is the casing unusually hot, or is smoke appearing?
  • Mechanical condition: Can the shaft or fan turn by hand (only when safely disconnected from power), or is it jammed?

3. Have the machine details ready (nameplate)

A photo of the nameplate is often the quickest solution. Please send it by email. We need:

  • Manufacturer, model and part number
  • Voltage (V), power (kW) and speed (rpm)
  • Year of manufacture (if shown)

4. Check the surroundings

  • Are any error messages shown on a display or frequency inverter?
  • Has a fuse or motor protection circuit breaker tripped?

Have the information ready? Call us directly!

We will immediately discuss:

  1. Remote diagnosis: Can we resolve the problem by phone?
  2. On-site service: Should we send a technician as quickly as possible?
  3. Collection: Should we arrange direct collection for our workshop?
